• The sensitivity can also be changed by pressing the 180 button once. taking
your finger off the button and turning the rear e-dial (',,,_,,_). n this case. the
sensitivity is fixed when the 180 button is pressed again or the exposure
metering timer (p.118) elapses.
• When the exposure mode is set to m (Green), TAv (Shutter & Aperture Priority)
or _!_ (Movie), the sensitivity is fixed to [AUTO] and the setting cannot be changed.
• When the exposure mode is setto SV (Sensitivity Priority), M (Hyper-manual),
B (Bulb) or X (Flash X-sync Speed), the sensitivity cannot be set to [AUTO].
• When the exposure mode is set to B (Bulb), the upper sensitivity limit is ISO 1600.
• The sensitivity range can be expanded to a range of ISO 80 to 51200 when
[3. Expanded Sensitivity] in the [C Custom Setting 1] menu (p.91) is set to
[On]. However. the minimum sensitivity is ISO 160 when [Highlight
Correction] is set to [On] in [D-Range Setting] (p.214)of the [1_ Rec. Mode
3] menu.
• Captured images may show more noise if a hig her sensitivity is set. You can
reduce image noise by setting [High-ISO NR] in the [1_1 Rec. Mode 3] menu.

• You can select whether to set the sensitivity in increments of I EV or in
accordance with the EV step setting for exposure (p.120). This can be set in
[2. Sensitivity Steps] of the [C Custom Setting 1] menu (p.91).
Set the range in which the sensitivity is automatically adjusted when the
sensitivity is set to [AUTO]. The sensitivity is automatically corrected in the
range of [ISO 100-3200] by default.

Select [ISO AUTO Setting] in the [1_1 Rec. Mode 3] menu
and press the four-way controller ( • ).
The [ISO AUTO Setting] screen appears.
Press the four-way controller ( • )
and use the four-way controller
(A T) to set the minimum
sensitivity.
