Returns the AF point to the center of the AF
frame.
Disables changing the AF point and enables
direct key operation of the four-way controller
(A • • 1_). To enable changing the AF point,
press the OK button while direct key
operation is enabled. You wilt hear a beep
when switching between enabled and
disabled.
The AF point(s) light red in the viewfinder
(Superimpose AF Area) and you can
check where you set the AF point.
• The position of the changed AF point is stored even if the camera is turned
off or the focusing area is switched to Fq or _. o
• [] appears in the viewfinder when the AF point can be changed.
• When any of the following operations are performed, changing of the AF
point (in Step 3) is canceled.
- the main switch is turned off
- the mode dial is turned
- the AF point switching dial is turned
- the r-€l button. MENU button. INFO button or [] button is pressed
