Start a
recording.

To return to the
channel being
recorded,
set the
TV to channel 3 or

Start a recording (see page nine).

Press the VCR/TV button to put the VCR in
TV position.
The VCR light will disappear
from the VCR's display panel.

Use the TV remote control or the TV con-
trol buttons to select the channel you want
to watch.

To return to the channel being recorded, use
the TV remote control or the TV control
buttons to select channel 3 or 4 (see page
six for details). Press the VCR button, then
press the VCR/TV button to put the VCR in
VCR position. The channel being recorded
will appear on-screen.

• If your VCR remote conlrol operates
your TV, press the TV button, then use
the CH(annel) Up/Down buttons or the
Number buttons on the VCR remote con-
trol to select TV channels. See page 36
for details.
• If you use a cable converter box or satel-
lite system hookup, you may not be able
to watch one channel while recording
another. See pages 42-45for details.
• If you don't receive channels, please
repeat the steps on page six, then follow
the instructions above carefully.
• The REC(ord)/OTR button on the remote
control will not start an immediate
recording if the TV GUIDE Plus+ menu
