AUDIO SELECTION CONSIDERATIONS

The last line of the Ch_mnel/Time display shows the current
audio heard. The display is shown each time you turn the
TV ON, change channels, or press ENTER. The audio
heard depends on the following:
• AUDIO mode selected on AUDIO MENU: STEREO,
MONO or 2ND AUDIO/SAP.
• Audio signal being received.
• Whether SEQ is ON or OFF.
NOTES:
• Your AUDIO mode selection can override the type of
audio heard. For example, if you select MONO, you will
always hear monaural sound even if the signal received is
stereo.
• If one of the auxiliary video sources (Video 1/2 or
S-Video 1) is selected for the main picture source, the
Channel/Time display will not show an audio mode except
to show whether or not SEO is turned on.

STEREO selected using the
AUDIO option on the
AUDIO Menu and a stereo
siglaal is received; you will hear
stereo sound. The Channel/
Tirae display shows STEREO.
MONO selected using the
AUDIO option on the
AUDIO Menu; you will hear
menaural sound regardless of
the signal actually received.
The Channel/Time display
shows MONO.
STEREO selected using the
AUDIO option on the
AUDIO Menu and a stereo
signal is recebmd; SEQ is
tinned ON. You will hear SEQ
stereo sound. The Channel/
Time display shows SEQ.
SAP selected using the
AUDIO option on the
AUDIO Menu and a SAP sig-
nal is received; you wilt hear
the SAP audio. The Channel/
Ti:aae display shows SAP.
If a SAP signal is not received,
the audio heard _411be what is
being received. The Channel/
Time display shows what type
of signal is being received.
