Care and Cleaning
CAUTION: Turn OFF your W before cleaning.
You can dean the IV as required, using a soft llnt-free cloth, te sure to occasionally dust the ventilation slots in the cabinet to
help assure adequate ventilation.
The ]V*Sscreen may be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth as well. Take care not to scratch or mar the screen. If
necessary, you may use a cloth dampened with warm water. Never use strong cleaning agents, such as ammonia-based
cleaners, or abrasive powder. These types of cleaners wilt damage the W.
While cteanlng do not spray liquid directly on the screen,or allow liquid to run down the screen and inside the _V. Also, avoid
placing drinks or vases with water on top of the IV. this could increase the risk of fire or shock hazard or damage to the IV.
Caution: Using video games or any external accessonl with fixed imagesfor extended periods of time can cause them to be
permanently imprinted on the picture tube (or proiection TV picture tubes). ALSO,some networklprogram logos, phone
numbers, etc. may cause similar damage. This damage is not covered by your warranty.

if you can't find your remote control you can USe the buttons on your fV to operate many of the ]_/'s features.
M£NU Drlngs up the [V MAIN MENU. When in the menu system, it sdects hlghllghted gems. Also returns you to the previous
menu. Press and hold MENU _r two seconds to access the GUIDE Plus+ system.
CN V Scans down through the current channel llst. When you're uslng the TV_smenu Wstem, it acts llke the arrow down
button on the remote control.
CH A Scansup through the channel tlst. When you're using the fV's menu system, it acts llke the arrow up button on the
remote cont_k
VOL - Decreases the volume. When you're using the IV_s menu system, it acts like the left arrow button on the remote
control.
VO[ + Increases the volume. When you're using the W's menu Wstem, it acts llke the right arrow button on the remote
control.
POWER Turns the T_/on and off.
Front Panel Jacks
You can accessthe component you connected to the front of the IV by pressing the
WHO.INPUT button on your remote untll FRNTappears on the screen.
PHONES (Available only on model F27450) Alows you to connect headphones to listen to
the sound comlng from the Td.
VIDEO (in} Receivesvideo from another component such as a VCR,camcorder or vldeo
game console.
L!MONO and R AUDIO Receivesaudlo from another component such as a VCR,camcorder
or vldeo game console.

Defects in materials or workmanship.

90 days from date of purchase for labor charges.
One year from date of purchase for parts.
Two years from date of purchase for the picture tube.
