When you are viewing broadcast
stations
thr(:,ugh the VCR, the
words "3minutes->Power
off' will appear
on _I_Vscreen three
minutes
before the VCR power turns
off. The display will count
down the number
of minutes
until the VCR turns
off. If you want
to continue
using VCR, load a cassette
or press any of the but-
tons.
Setting the RF converter
If you are using an older TV without
audio a_d video inputs,
the
RF converter
will need to be set to ON. The setting
"RF con-
verter"
of the "Customize
choices" menu is preset
by the factory to
ON. If you are using a modern
TV with both Audio and Video
inputs,
you will need to be set to RF converte_: to OFF.
To set the RF converter:
Press the MENU button
on the remote control. The "VCR
Main Menu" appears
on your TV.

Use the ADJUST
buttons
on the remote
to select "Customize
choices."
Press the ENTER
button.

Use the ADJUST
buttons
to select "RF converter."
Then, press the ENTER
button
to set the RF converter
to ON or C'FF.
Press
the MENU button
once to return
tc the "VCR Main
Menu;" press the MENU 9utton
a second time to turn off the
menus.
If the "RF converter"
is set to ON, you don'1; need to press the
VCR/TV button
when viewing tapes.
The "VCR" light will auto-
matically
light up when you press the PLAY/STOP
button.
Makinga Copyof a Tape
There are two basic ways to make a copy of a tape. One way is to
use the HS-U120
to play a tape and use another
VCR to record.
The other way is to use another
VCR to play a tape and the
HS-U120
to record.
Whichever
method
yeu choose, you will need one RCA audio cable
and one RCA video cable to connect the two VCRs. If you do not
have these
cables, they are available
at your local electronics
retailer.
