If you press the PAUSE
button
during
OTR, the VCR will pause
recording,
but the OTR timer continues
to count down.
If you press
PLAY/STOP
during
OTR, you erase the OTR pro-
gramming.
You cannot
use the REC/OTR
button
on the front panel to resume
recording
from the record-pause
mode.
UsingOne KeyProgramming
One Key Programming
is a programming
method
that is simple
to use and easy to learn,
without
using the remote
control.
Before you begin,
• you need to know how to view the picture
coming from your
VCR; (see page 20) and
• you must haw.' set the clock. (See page 23.)
To use One-Key
Programming:
0
Load a tape with its erasure
tab intact
into the VCR.
O
Press the ONE KEY PROGRAM
button.
(If you have not set
the time, the "Set the clock" menu will ai?pear.
Set the clock,
and then proceed.)
If the:ce is already
a program
in the VCR's
memory,
you will see the "recap" screen.
You can use the ONE
KEY PROGRAM
button
to select an eml:,ty programming
slot,
or you can wait 4 second,,; for the VCR to automatically
select
an empty
slot.

You will see the "Program
to record" screen.
Press the ONE
KEY PROGRAM
button
until the channel
you would like to
record (for example,
channel
2) appears.
Then, wait for 4
seconds. The word "Day" will be automatically
highlighted.
• If you are recording
from a cable box, _et the channel
to 3
or 4, whichever
the cable box sends sit,reals on.
• If you wish to record from an external
source, press the
ONE KEY PROGRAM
button
until "l_:xternal" appears.

Press the ONE KEY PROGRAM
button
_;ochoose the day, you
would like to record (for example,
Mond_y
the seventeenth).
Then, wait for 4 seconds. The hour numt:,ers of the starting
time will flash.

when you wish recording
