display
This area displays:
the current
time; a time
counter
showing
how long the tape has run;
the amount
of time remaining
on the tape;
or the contents
of a programmed
recording
when you are programming
your VCR. The
current
time is displayed
when the VCR is
turned
off or when you press
the DISPLAY
button.
The counter
is automatically
set to
"0H00M00S" when a new tape is loaded. The
counter
will display "- H- - M
- -
S" when no
tape is in the VCR.

(SP, EP)
This will light to indicate
the tape speed
