PULSE GRIPS
P/acethe palm of your handsdirectly on the grip pulse handlebars.Both handsmust grip the bars for your heart
rate to register.It takes 5 consecutiveheart beats (15-20 seconds)for your heart rate to register.When gripping
the pulse handlebars,donot grip tightly. Holding the grips tightly may e/evateyour Wood pressure.Keepa bose,
cupping hold. Youmayexperiencean erratic readoutif consistentlyholding the grip pulse handlebars.Makesure
to dean the pulse sensorsto ensureproper contactcan bemaintained.
I) Checkto makesure nothingis on or will hinderthe movementof the treadmill.
2) Plug in the powercordand turn the treadmill ON.
3) Standon the side rails of the treadmill.
4) Attach the safetykeyclip to part of your clothing.
5) Insertthe safetykeyinto the safetykeyholein the console.
6) Youhavetwo optionsto start your workout:

Simply press the START keyto begin workingout. OR...
SELECT A PROGRAM
Select a PROGRAM using the CORRESPONDING
NUMBER KEYS.
Oncea PROGRAM has beenchosen,pressENTER.
SELECT A tiME
Select a time using the ARROW keysor use the default time.
Oncea TIMEhas beenchosen,press ENTER.
SELECT A LEVEL
Select a PROGRAM LEVEL using the ARROW keys.
Oncea PROGRAM LEVEL has beenchosen,press ENTER.
SELECT A WEIGHT
Select a WEIGHT using the ARROW keys.
Oncea WEIGHT has beenchosen,pressSTART.
FINISHING YOUR WORt(OUT
When your workoutis complete,the MONITOR DISPLAY will flash and beep. Yourworkoutinformation will
stay displayedon the consolefor 45 secondsand then reset.
CLEAR C URRENT SELECtiON
Toclear the current programselectionor screen,hold the STOP button for 3 seconds.
