Directing Airflow
(Unit with fixedlouvers)
Unit is engineered with two fixed bank Iouvered
inserts to direct discharge airflow. To adjust
direction of airflow either right or left, proceed
as follows:
1. Remove front panel.
2. Position Iouvered inserts to give desired
airflow direction.
3. Replace front panel.
(Unit with adjustable louvers)
Unit is engineered with adjustable louvers to
direct discharge airflow. Louvers are manually
adjusted by moving levers in direction of
desired airflow.
Decorative Front Removal
1. Turn the unit off and remove the plug from
the outlet.
2. Remove the screw from the control panel
area (Figs. 10 & 11).
3. Place the tip of a thin blade screwdriver
between the metal cabinet and the plastic
tab on the left side center of the decorative
front.
4. Gently twist with the screwdriver and unlock
the plastic tab by pulling the decorative front
slightly forward.
5. Swing the left side of the decorative front
away from the cabinet and unhook the
plastic tab on the right.
6. To replace the decorative front, hook the
plastic tab on the right side then swing the
left side into position. Gently press into
position.
7. Reattach the screw in the control panel area.
Make sure the decorative front is secure
before reconnecting the plug and operating
the unit.
Cleaning Air Filter
On some models...
EVERYTWO WEEKS: Clean the filter.
1. Turn the unit OFF and remove the plug from
the outlet.
2. Remove the screw from the control panel
area.
3. Place the tip of a thin blade screwdriver
between the metal cabinet and the plastic
projection on the left side center of the
decorative front.
