Setting the CJock

Before operatiug tile unit any further, first set tile uuiUs clock
On the remote control ONLY:

TurningOnthe Power
To turn on the unit, press STANDBY/ON 0D/I.

The STANDBY lamp ou tile uuit goes off

TAPE 4 _, FM/AM and AUX, tile unit
To turn off the unit (standby), press STANDBY/ON _/I
again.
The STANDBY Bampou tile unit lights red.
• "AM 12:00" flashes on tile display until you set tile built-hi
clock. After setting tile clock, tl_e clock time will appear ou
tim display while tim unit is in standby mode.

The clock is reset to "AM L2:00." If this happens, set the clock
again.

To switch off the power supply completely, uuplug tile AC
power cord from tile AC outlet.
Turning Offthe Unit Automatically
(Auto Standby)
Using Auto Standby, tile unit automa/icaHy turns itself off (on
standby) about 3 minutes after playing back a disc or a tape.
• You can also mm off the unit automatically by using tile
Sleep Timer. (See page 21.)

To activate Auto Standby, press A.STANDBY.
The A.STANDBY iudicator appears ou tile
