General Netes

your discs, tapes and the mechanism clean.
* Store discs and tapes hi their cases, and keep fi_em in
cabinets or on sllelves.

• Remove the disc from its case by
holding it a/the edge wMle pressing
the center hole Jighdy.
• Do not touch the shiny surfi_ce of tile
disc, or bend tl_e disc.
• Put the disc back in its case after use
to prevent warping.
• Be careful not to scra/ch tile surf?__ce
of tile disc when placing it back in
its case.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight,
temperNure extremes, and moisture.
To clean the disc
Wipe the disc with a soft cloth in a
straight line from center to edge.
DO NOT use any solvent--such as conventional
record cleaner, spray, thinner, or benzine--to clean
the disc.

• If tlle tape is _oose in its cassette, take up the
slack by inse_ling a pencil in one of tile reels
and rotating.
• If tile tape is k_ose, it may get stretched, cut,
or caught in tile cassette.

• Avoid storing tapes in any of file [oHowing
