How to Select Flame Size
Forsafe handling of cookware, never let the
flames extend up the sides of the cookware.
Watchthe flame, not the knob, as you reduce
heat. When fast heating is desired,the flame
sizeon a gas burner should match the
cookwareyou are using.
Flames larger than the bottom of the
cookware will not result in faster heating
of the cookware and could be hazardous.

Cookware
Aluminum: Medium-weight cookwareis
recommendedbecause it heats quickly
and evenly. Mostfoods brown evenly in an
aluminum skillet. Usesaucepanswith tight:

amounts of water.
Cast-Iron: Ifheated slowly, most skillets wil
give satisfactory results.
