Basic Shooting Settings
Using the Self-timer
Tile camera is equipped with a self timer that releases tile shutter ten seconds or
two seconds after you press tile shutter release button. Tile selfitimer is useful
when you want to be in tile picture you are taking, and when you want to avoid
tile effects of camera shake that occur when you press tile shutter release button.
VVhen using tile selfltimer, use of a tripod is recommended. Set Vibration
reduction to Off in tile setup menu ([_88) when using a tripod to stabilize tile
camera during shooting.
1 Tapthe self-timer icon.
• ]08 (ten seconds): Use on important occasions, such as
weddings
• _)S (two seconds): Use to prevent camera shake
• The mode selected for self-timer is displayed.
• Tap the selfitimer setting icon to return to the previous
screen.
• If you tap any other icon, the setting screen for that item is displayed.

Frame the picture and press the
shutter-release button halfway.
• Focus and exposure will be set.
