Option ' Description _[_
Allows you to select the image displayed as the welcome
I_1 Welcome screen when the camera is turned on. Select COOLPIX to
screen display the COOLPIX logo. Select Select an image to use a
)icture taken with the camera as the welcome screen.
Allows you to set settings related to the camera's date and
time. The Time zone setting allows you to specify the time
zone where the camera is mainly used and whether or not
_) Time zone and daylight saving time is in effect. When the travel

date destination (:_') is selected, the camera automatically
calculates the time difference between the travel
destination and the home time zone (_'), and saves
images using the date and time of the travel destination.
Allows you to select whether or not to display information
on the shooting screen and playback screen, if you select
Ill[ Monitor Framing grid+auto info, a grid is displayed when
shooting to help you frame the shot. The default setting is _68
settings Auto info.
You can also set the image review settings and the
monitor brightness.
Allows you to imprint the shooting date and time on
images at the time of shooting. The default setting is Off.
DATE Print date The date cannot be imprinted in the following _70
situations:
When using Panorama assist scene mode
When shooting movies
