Troubleshooting
Cordless Telephone
Problem
An alarm tone sounds.
Remedy
•You are too far from the base unit. Move
closer and try again.
• Place the handset on the base unit and
try again.
• Plug in the AC adaptor.
• Raise the base unit antenna.

•The handset is too far from the base unit.
•The handset is engaged in an outside
call or listening to messages. Wait until
the IN USE/CHARGE/HOLD indicator
light goes out.
