To install the speakers on the wall

HT-M700H
Sharp has designed the
front, surround and centre
speakers so you can hang
it on the wall.
Use appropriate screws
(not supplied). See the il-
lustration on the right for
size and type.
1
Make a hole in the wall using
a drill.
2
Drive a wall mount plug into
the hole using a hammer,
until it is flush with the wall
surface.
3
Drive one screw into the wall for each speaker as shown in
the illustration.
Make sure that both the screw and the wall can support a load
of 2.0 kg (4.5 lbs.).
Drive the screws, so the screw head extends about 5.5 mm (7/
32") out from the wall.

CAUTION:
Make sure to prevent the front, centre speaker [0.78 kg (1.7 lbs.)]
or surround speaker [0.66 kg (1.5 lbs.)] from falling when mount-
ing on the wall.
Before mounting, check the wall strength. (Avoid the veneer plas-
ter or whitewashed wall. The speaker may fall.) If it is not clear,
consult with a qualified service technician.
Mounting screws are not supplied. Use appropriate ones.
Check all mounting screws for looseness and that they are
engaged in the speaker.
Select a good location. If not, accidents may occur or the speaker
may get damaged.
Avoid placing on a bed, sofa, water tank, sink and hallway wall.
SHARP is not responsible for accidents resulting from improper
installation.
