Bevel Lock
l-he bevel lock is used to hold the blade at
various angles to the table. To unlock the
bevel lock, move the lock to the right. Always
hold the motor when you unlock the bevd
lock. (Figure 28)
,CAUTION:
The motor
is heavy
and
can
swing
down
quickly.
You can
be cut
or injured
by the
arbor
shaft
or blade.
Hold
the
motor
when
you
unlock
the
bevel
lock.

To lock the miter lock, push the lock to the
left. (Figure 27)

There
are three
pre-set
miter angles at 45 °,
0°, and -45 °. You will feel the radial arm
snap into position
at these miter angles. To
unlock the arm when it is in one of these pos>
tions, pull the miter lock all the way to the
right and move the ann as you hold the lock
in this position.
To lock the bevel lock, move the lock to the
left. (Figure 29)
