Introduction
This SD Video Camera can record MPEG2/
MPEG4 motion images and still pictures.
Additionally, using the viewer software,
MediaStage
for AVl00 (supplied
accessory), the MPEG2/MPEG4
motion
images data can be edited on the personal
computer.
• Charging the Battery
Be sure to charge the supplied battery
before use,
eRefer to Page 12 for the procedures to
attach and charge the battery.
• Clock setting
Prior to use the clock in this SD Video
Camera needs to be set. Please turn to
page 22 for additional information.
• About Using an SD Memory
Card
This product is capable of recording in the
MPEG2 format, producing video quality that
is comparable to digital camcorders.
To
achieve this level of performance,
large
amounts of data must be written to the SD
card in real time.
The read and write speed of the SD card
may differ from manufacturer
to
manufacturer.
In MPEG2 motion image
recording, SD card with the high-speed
transmission
rate of 10 MB/s is needed. The
use of SD cards other than the above may
result in the following error message: [This
card cannot record in the MPEG2 mode.]
