Connecting
with
the
PC
eConnect
the USB cable after the USB driver is
installed.
• Use both the AC adaptor and the battery. Either
one alone does not allow the SD Video Camera
to be used with a personal computer.

Open the AV Input/Output
and USB
Terminal Cover and DC Input Socket
Cover.
• When using AV Cradle, put the SD Video
Camera in the AV Cradle after opening AV Input/
Output and USB Terminal Cover.

Connect with AC Adaptor O- ("> 12)

Connect the [USB] Terminal _) of the SD
Video Camera to the USB Terminal of the
personal computer _) using supplied USB
Cable O-
• The SD Video Camera works as a personal
computer peripheral. (Operation of the SD Video
Camera is disabled.)
• The [Removable disk] icon appears in
[My Computer].
• Do not use any other USB Cables except the
supplied one.
• For other notes, see page 84.
When the SD Video Camera is connected for the
first time.
• [F0und New Hardware Wizard] screen appears.
For Windows Me/98SE Users:
OClick
[Next].
_Click
[Finish].
For Windows XP Users:

[Next].
• When the supplied CD-ROM is inserted, click
[Next] again.

[Continue Anyway].

[Finish].
• Since [Found New Hardware Wizard] screen
appears again after this, repeat steps.
For Windows 2000 Users:
