Dubbingselected scenes
You can fast forward, rewind, play in slow motion,
and stop the tape to select scenes using the on-
screen display.

Follow steps1 to6 of "DubbingFrom a DV/
D8Format T apeto a DVD"(page87).
2 Select"Dubbing" on theSystem Menu,
andpressENTER.
3 Select "DV/D8Dubbing," andpress
ENTER.

Find thedubbing startpoint on thetape,
andstopor pauseplayback.
Press '0"/"_ to select 4141, •, II, I_, C:>, or
I_ on the TV screen and press ENTER to
find the point, and stop or pause with • or I!
Press-l, toselect• on theIV screen, a nd
press ENTER.
Dubbing starts.
Tostoprecording
Select • on the TV screen, and press ENTER.
Note that it may take a few seconds for the
recorder to stop recording.
Toturnoff the display for DV/D8dubbing
Press INPUT.

II'"DV Camera Mode" appears on 1he screen, you can use
• on lhe TV screen to record the camera image directly

the recorder.

Select "DV/D8SimpleDubbing," and
pressENTER.
The "DVTape Mode" display appears.
If "DV" or "DV Camera Mode" is displayed,
check that the DV camcorder is correctly
connected, turned on, and set to the video
playback mode.
