subject, which increases the chance ofdigital noise. Use a

(Flash Off) selected, which can increase digital noise and
make images appear coarse. Inthis case, turn o n flash ( page
44) o ruse lights for i llumination.
3)Lighting (page 106) may b e enabled for s napshots, which can
cause an increase indigital noise. Use a light or some other
means toilluminate the subject.
4)Shooting movies for l ong p eriods inareas where temperature
isrelatively high c an cause digital noise (dots oflight) to
appear inthe movie image. Ifthis happens, move toacooler
environment orturn o ff t he camera and a llow ittocool down,
which should cause normal operation toresume.
