Connecting AC and RPS-SYS Power

C2RPS-SYS Redundant Power System

If you are installing an optional redundant power system (C2RPS‐SYS), refer to the 
installation instructions supplied with the SecureStack RPS. The switch is connected to a 
C2RPS‐PSM using a C2RPS‐PSM Cable.

If you are installing the switch as a standalone switch, proceed to "Connecting to Console 
Port for Local Management" on page 3‐20. If you are installing switches in a stack 
configuration, apply power to each switch in order, according to the procedure you use in 
"Configuring Switches in a Stack" on page 3‐13.

Caution: To prevent damaging the switch, DO NOT connect a Power over
Ethernet-compliant Redundant Power System (C2RPS-POE) to the redundant power
supply connector. The switch is only compatible with the SecureStack C2RPS-SYS
redundant power supply system.
Precaución: No conecte una fuente de poder redundante (RPS) SecureStack PoE
