Loosen set screw (L), push chisel (M) up against
the bottom of bushing (N) and tighten set screw.
This should provide the proper distance between
the cutting edges of the bit and points of the chisel
See Figure 19.

The flat portion of the bit (O) should now be adjusted
to a minimum of 1/16" below the bottom of the
chisel (P). See Figure 20. For certain types of
wood it may be necessary to increase this
distance to a maximum of 3/16" clearance.
