Symptoms
Cannot display the image from "Photo Input function".
The image on the screen is moving in
an oblique direction.
(RGB input mode only)
The coarse horizontal stripes could be
seen in full-display mode.

The part of the image is lacking.
The horizontal stripes are moving
vertically with fl ickering screen.

When the characters are displayed
on the whole screen, the vertical
stripes appear and some of the
characters are blurred.

When the letter string is displayed in
full-screen, all of the characters on
the screen are blurred.

When the small patterns are

Check the connecting equipments and image format.
(Please refer to "Photo Input function".)
Adjust "Horizontal Clock" and "Clock Phase".

Check if the "Screen Saver" is OFF.

Try "Auto Adjust". (RGB input mode only)
Check if it is in Full 2. Set to Full 1.
Check the Signal status of the PC by pressing
on the remote control.
If the Vertical Frequency of the PC is set to less than 85Hz,
adjust its level higher (up to 85Hz).
Set "Vertical Filter" to ON.
(Please note that you will have lower vertical resolution with
this action.)
Try "Auto Adjust".

It could happen when the image with more than 512 lines
(42PD9700U/C) / 768 lines (55PD9700U/C) of vertical
resolution is displayed.
Please note this is not malfunction.
It might occur because it is tuned to digital teletext channel.
Return to another channel.
Re-install channel to cancel channel lock.
Contact the customer service listed on the rear page.
Check the aerial system to improve signal quality.
