B. Replacing the Battery
Warning
To avoid false readings, which could lead to possible electric shock or personal
injury, replace the battery as soon as the battery indicator " " appears.
To replace the battery:
1. Turn the Meter to OFF position.
2. Remove the screw from case bottom, and separate the case bottom from the
case top.
3. Remove the battery from the battery compartment.
4. Replace the battery with a new 12V battery (A23).
5. Rejoin the case bottom and case top, and reinstall the screw.
