A. General Service and Maintenance
• Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or sol-
vents. Clean the terminals with cotton bars with detergent, as dirt or moisture in the terminals
can affect readings.
• Turn of the power of the meter when it is not in use and take out the battery if it is not used
for a long time.
• Any abnormal on the meter, stop use the meter and return to service center.

B. Replacing the battery
The battery need to be replaced by a new battery as soon as the battery indicator appears.
To replace the meter's battery:
1. Turn the meter off and remove all connections from the terminals.
2. Remove the screw from the battery compartment.
3. Remove the battery and replace it with a new 9V battery (6F22 or NEDA 1604 / IEC6LR61)
and close the battery compartment.
C. Replacing the fuses
1. Turn the meter off, remove the test leads and the holster from the meter.
2. Remove the screws from the battery compartment and 2 other screws from the case bottom.
Separate case and bottom.
3. Gently remove the fuse and replace it by an identical one:
A mA range
4. Rejoin the case bottom and case top and rejoin the holster.
Replacement of the fuses is seldom required. Burning a fuse always results from improper opera-
tion.
