2.2 Feed halt when the stitch-length regulator (thrust cam) moves

Regulation and inspection
With the sewing machine locked in position B (class 271/273/275) or
position E (class 272/274) and the stitch length at maximum, there
must be no feed movement when the stitch-length regulator 2 is
moved.
Caution: danger of injury
Turn off the main switch.
The feed standstill may only be adjusted with the sewing machine
switched off.
Adjustment
Set the stitch length to maximum.
Undo both screws of thrust cam 1.
Lock sewing machine:
class 271/273/275
class 272/274
Rotate thrust cam 1.
When the stitch-length regulator 2 is moved the feed dog must
remain at a halt.
Retighten both screws of thrust cam 1.
This must place the thrust cam 1 hard up against the bearing
(axial shaft position).
