IMPORTANT

Adjustments to the sewing machine must be carried out in the order
given.

1.3 In position A it must be possible to insert a
pin in the crank groove.
2.1 The adjusting wheels must make no
movement during the feed process.
2.2 No advance movement at maximum stitch
length when the stitch-length regulator is
moved.
2.3 Markings on lift cam and connecting rod in
line.
2.3 At its highest position the feed dog
protrudes from the needle plate by:
0.9 mm for the fine-toothed feed dog
1.1 mm for the coarse-toothed feed dog
2.3.1 Position of feed dog with respect to
needle plate (depends on the material).
2.4 Needle feed and underfeed set to be
equal.
2.5 At stitch length "0": 9 mm.
2.6 needle in centre of needle hole.
2.7 Maximum feed length: 7 mm.

instructions.
2.7.1 Groove of cam and connecting rod in line.
2.7.2 distance between centre of roller and
centre of needle: 28.5 mm or 30 mm.
2.7.3 Upper end position:
the feed roller must not touch the sewing
foot.
Lower end position:
after being fitted the link must encounter
elastic resistance at about the 1-mm point.
2.7.4 depending on the material
2.7.5 So tight against the roller that the roller
can only just rotate freely.
