Turn off the main switch.
Maintenance may only be carried out with the sewing machine
switched off.
The maintenance work to be carried out daily or weekly by the sewing
machine's operating personnel (cleaning and lubrication) is described
in part 1: Operating manual. It is given in the following table for the
sake of completeness.
IMPORTANT
The oil should be changed after the first 500 operating hours.
Thereafter it should be changed every 2 years regardless of the
number of operating hours.
