What to do if ...
Problem

Measurement or

Batteries are flat.

Error codes 01-29:
Device may not be correctly
positioned on the wrist.
Error codes 30 and
higher:
System error
Right measuring position
was not reached.
Blood pressure is a
fluctuating value.
For healthy adults,
deviations of about 10 to
20 mmHg are possible.
Cuff is not properly fitted.
Readings were not con-
sistently taken at heart
level.
Talking, coughing,
laughing, moving etc.
when measuring will
influence the reading.
Positioning system (A) is
deactivated.
Solution
Insert new batteries.
Refit device and repeat measurement
as shown and described under
«Measuring».
Repeat measurement. If problem
persists, have device checked at a
Braun Service Centre.
Repeat measurement as shown and
described under «Measuring» or de-
activate the positioning system (A).

Ensure that the appliance is fitted
as follows:
– on top of the slim side of the forearm
– with the display on top
– with the battery compartment facing
the user's body
– approx. 2 cm away from the thumb root
For each measurement, proceed
exactly as shown and described under
«Measuring».
While measuring, relax, keep still,
do not move, or speak.
Refer to the chapter «Select mode»
to activate the positioning system
(A).
