For an ODBC data source:
Specify the data source (if your data source is not listed, use the Data Sources tool in the

Windows® Control Panel to create one).
Enter logon information.

Click Test Connection to confirm the provider, data source and logon information.

Click OK.

5. Continue with step 6 of the Importing Data into Label Files (Advanced) process or simply import
the data as is without using advanced features (see Importing Data into Label Files (Simple).

Filtering Import Data

The filter feature allows you to add conditions to import fields. Data must meet the conditions to be
included in your label file.
To filter your import data:
1. Complete the first 6 steps of the Importing Data into Label Files (Advanced) process.
2. When the Filter Your Records dialog appears, enter your condition details:
Select the Field you want to filter from the list. (Fields are column headings in a spreadsheet
or field names in a database.)
