Administrative Checklist

Use the following checklist as a guide to system and LAN administrator responsibilities. This
high-level list helps ensure that all telephone system prerequisites and requirements are met
prior to telephone installation.
Note:
One person might function as both the system administrator and the LAN

Install a DHCP application on at
least one new or existing PC on
the LAN.
Add IP telephone administration
to DHCP application.
Install an HTTP/HTTPS
application on at least one new
or existing PC on the LAN.
Download the files from the
Avaya support site.
Edit the settings file as desired,
using your own tools or the
[Avaya] Web configuration tool.
