Generating Help and printed documents
Generate EclipseHelp
EclipseHelp contains a bunch of HTML files with an XML-based TOC and a plugin.xml file. Eclipse uses the plugin
file to display the Help from Help > Help Contents.
Do one of the following:

• Select File > Generate > EclipseHelp.
• Select Tools > Scripts > EclipseHelp Generator.
Select the folder where you want to store the EclipseHelp output.

Specify the following information:

A title for the output. By default, RoboHelp displays the project name.
Title
The name of the company.
Provider Name
The version number of the output.
Version
A unique ID for the output.
ID
Click Generate.

Generate output in the ePub format
The ePub format helps you to distribute content to mobile devices, eBook readers, and tablets. Adobe Digital Editions,
Calibre, and the ePub Reader plug-in with Mozilla Firefox are some ePub readers.
Adobe Digital Editions reader software is free and can be downloaded from the
RoboHelp creates a single .epub file containing the XHTML-based content. The exported file includes the JPEG
thumbnail image that you specify for the cover page of the document (see
page 306). This thumbnail is used to depict the book in the Digital Editions Reader library view.

Prepare for generating the ePub output
1 Download a zip executable for Windows from http://stahlforce.com/dev/zip.exe.
2 Review your project content and apply CBTs to content not supported by the ePub format (such as drop-down or
expanded text).
Create the TOC for the ePub output.

In the Single Source Layouts pod, right-click XML Output and select New Layout. Specify a name and click OK.
