Image maps
Create an image map

In the Design Editor, open a topic containing an image.
Right-click the image. Select Insert Image Map.

Select Rectangle, Circle, or Polygon.

The cursor becomes a cross hair

Draw a clickable area within the image border.

In Link To, click the triangle pop-up menu
destination.
In Screen Tip Text, enter text to display when users hover the mouse over the image map.

Click OK.

The Project Manager saves the image map with the image in the Images folder. A plus sign at the left side of the
Image button indicates an image map:
Hotspot links appear with the Hotspot icon
To test, click the View button in the toolbar. Click the hotspot.

In the Design Editor, open the topic containing the image map.

Double-click the hotspot.
In Link To, click the triangle pop-up menu

Select OK. If prompted, select OK to copy the file into the project.

Adobe Captivate demos

Follow these procedures to launch Adobe Captivate to create demos and insert them in the project. After you insert an
Adobe Captivate SWF, you can update the SWF by opening the source from within RoboHelp.
Create an Adobe Captivate demo
Click the Project Manager tab. Place the cursor on the folder.

Select File > New, and choose Adobe Captivate Demo.
In the Topic Title box, type a host topic name.

In the File Name box, type a filename with the extension .htm.
