TV
You can connect a television set to the video-out jack on the computer. Follow the
steps below.
Using the TV out button
1. Turn the computer off.
2. Use a video cable (not supplied) to connect the TV adaptor cable's mini-jack
to the video-out jack on the computer.
3. Connect the TV adaptor cable's RCA jack to the RCA jack on the TV.
4. Turn the television on.
5. Turn the computer on.
6. Press the TV out button.
You can use the hotkeys Fn + F5 to change the display device. Refer to Chapter 5,
The
Keyboard.
NOTE: If a television is connected to the computer, set the TV type in
Display Properties. Follow the steps below.
a. Click start and click Control Panel.
b. Double-click the Display icon to open the Display Properties
window.
c. Click the Settings tab and click the Advanced button.
d. Click the nView Display Mode tab, click Device Settings and
click Select Output Device.
e. Select Advanced and select TV in the Device Selection window.
f. Select the Format box and select the format that your TV supports.
Changing the resolution
When you press the TV out Button, the CRT resolution is also set. (The default is
1024 x 768.) If you want to change the resolution, follow the steps below.
1. Open Display properties and select the Settings tab.
