Page 15 1 Hardware Overview Features Features The TOSHIBA Satellite Pro M10 Series Portable Personal Computer uses extensive Large Scale Integration (LSI), and Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) technology extensively to provide compact size, minimum weight, low power usage and high reliability. The computer is built and configured to order, to best meet the customer’s needs.
Page 16 The computer has a touch pad in its palm rest with two control buttons and a wheel. The Touch pad enables control of the on-screen pointer and scrolling of windows. Page 19 Slim Select Bay is a single-drive bay that accommodates a CD-ROM drive, DVD- ROM drive, CD-R/RW drive, CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive, DVD-RAM drive, Slim Select Bay HDD adaptor or Slim Select Bay 2nd battery pack. The TOSHIBA Mobile Extension enables hot docking of modules when you are using a plug and play operating system.

Connect the printer port wraparound board (F31PRT), then turn the POWER switch on. The computer will override the password function by erasing the current password. Verify with the customer that TOSHIBA Windows XP is installed on the hard disk. Operating systems that were not preinstalled by TOSHIBA can cause the computer to malfunction.
