Defining Port The Port Administration Setup Page allows network managers to

When using auto-negotiation to set the port speed or duplex mode, it
must either be enabled for both parameters (Auto) or set to a fixed mode
(10/100/1000, Half/Full).
The 1000BASE-T standard does not support forced mode. Auto-
negotiation should always be used to establish a connection over any
1000BASE-T port or trunk. If not used, the success of the link process
cannot be guaranteed.
To configure Port Settings:
1 Click Port > Administration > Setup. The Port Administration Setup
Page opens:
