2) Follow the on-screen instructions in the Getting Started tab, and click "Add a host".

3) The Add Host wizard appears.

a) Type the IP address or name of the ESXi host in the Host name field.
b) Enter the Username and Password for a user account that has administrative privileges on the
selected managed host.
4) Click "Next". The Host Summary window appears.
5) To confirm the Host Summary information, click "Next". The Configure Lockdown Mode window appears.
