Removing optional printer memory or firmware cards

These instructions can help you remove optional printer memory or firmware cards.
Note: You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver for this procedure.
Accessing the system board

Turn the printer off and unplug the printer power cord.

Disconnect all cables from the back of the printer.

Open the upper front door and multipurpose feeder door.
4
Press the tabs on the front and top of the printer to release the side cover.
