Caring for Your PDA Phone

Your PDA phone is designed to be rugged and reliable
and provide years of trouble-free service. Observe the
following general tips when using your PDA phone:
• Take care not to scratch the screen of your PDA phone. Keep
the screen clean. When working with your PDA phone, use
the supplied stylus or a plastic-tipped pen intended for use
with a touch-sensitive screen. Never use an actual pen or
pencil or other sharp object on the surface of the handheld
screen.
• Your PDA phone is not waterproof and should not be exposed
to rain or moisture. Under extreme conditions, water may
enter the circuity through the front panel buttons. In
general, treat your PDA phone as you would a pocket
calculator or other small electronic instrument.
• Take care not to drop your PDA phone or subject it to any
strong impact. Do not carry your PDA phone in your back
pocket; if you sit on it, you may damage it.
• Protect your handheld from temperature extremes. For
example, do not leave your PDA phone on the dashboard of a
car on a hot day or on a day when temperatures are below
freezing, and keep it away from heaters and other heat
sources.
• Do not store or use your PDA phone in any location that is
damp, wet, or extremely dusty.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean your PDA phone. If the
surface of the PDA screen becomes soiled, clean it with a soft
cloth moistened with a diluted window-cleaning solution.
• To clean the camera lens surface, gently wipe it with a soft
dry cloth. Avoid touching the lens with your fingers and using
alcohol or solvents to clean the surface. If the lens comes in
contact with abrasive substances such as sand, gently blow
away the loose particles so that wiping does not scratch the
lens.
