Using Backup

Your data in the PDA phone's memory are accidentally
erased due to power failure or storage failure. Backup
helps you protect your data by storing them as backup
files in the PDA phone's flash memory or SD card.
Your PDA phone has a built-in backup battery for your
data safety. For more detailed information of built-in
backup battery, see
page 19.
Use Backup to do the following:
• Archive your data in applications as backup files and then
store them into your PDA phone's flash memory or SD card.
• Restore the backup files into the original applications
• Delete all of the backup files
• Format the PDA phone's flash memory
Note: If you want to back up your message data, see page 125.
To open Backup:
On the Application Launcher, tap the icon ( ).
