Chapter 1: Preparation for Use
In case of PCL driver
1.
Select [Start] - [Control Panel].
2.
Select [Hardware and Sound].
3.
Select [Printers].
4.
Right-click the printer icon you want to set, select [Proper-
ties].
5.
Click [Configure].
6.
Click [Acquire Device Information].
Device information is acquired from the main body. If it cannot be

acquired from the main body, check the network settings.
7.
Specify the device option from [Device Option] field.
8.
Click [OK] to close Properties window.
