Topology View Web part
computers that are running Windows, UNIX, Linux, and Mac. The collected data
is saved in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Note: The Topology View Web part does not display the SNMP-enabled devices
that are discovered with the single device discovery task. When you create a
Network Discovery task to collect the data for the Topology View Web part, you
must set the range of the IP addresses that you want to discover.
The Topology View Web part is installed as a part of the Server Management
Suite.

You can view the network topology diagram on the Topology View Web part that
is displayed on the Server Management Suite Portal page.

Options on the toolbar let you edit the view and the layout of the topology diagram.
After you adjust the network topology view, you can save it for further use. To
display the view that you saved, select it from the User View drop-down list.
To view the network topology

In the Symantec Management Console, on the Home menu, click Server
Management Suite Portal.

(Optional) Edit the settings of the network topology view.

The Topology View Web part provides you with a quick overview of your network.
On the topology diagram you see all the SNMP-enabled devices that are discovered
on your network, and the status of each device.
