Deleting a virtual disk

Deleting a virtual disk
Click the host machine and on the host machine page, under Actions,
click Create Virtual Disk.
Right-click the host machine, and click Create Disk.

In the Create Disk dialog box, specify the disk settings, select the credentials
of the host machine, and click OK.

On the create disk task page, under Task Status, specify a schedule for the
task.

Click Save changes.
To manually create a task that creates a virtual disk

In the Symantec Management Console page, on the Manage menu, click Jobs
and Tasks.

In the left pane, under Jobs and Tasks, click Virtual Machine Management.

Right-click the Create Disk folder and click New > Task.

In the tasks list, click Create Disk.

Give the task a name.

In the right pane, under Software Setting, specify the disk settings, select
the credentials of the host machine, and click OK.

On the create disk task page, under Task Status, specify a schedule for the

Click Save changes.
Delete disk task lets you delete a disk on the host machine. When you delete a
disk, it is also removed from the virtual disks list of the host machine.
