DRIVER & FREE PROGRAM INSTALLATION
Check your package and there is A MAGIC INSTALL CD included. This CD consists of
all DRIVERS you need and some free application programs and utility programs. In
addition, this CD also include an auto detect software which can tell you which hardware is
installed, and which DRIVERS needed so that your system can function properly. We call
this auto detect software MAGIC INSTALL.
MAGIC INSTALL Supports WINDOWS 98SE/ME/NT4.0/2000/XP
Insert CD into your CD-ROM drive and the MAGIC INSTALL Menu should appear as
below. If the menu does not appear, double-click MY COMPUTER / double-click CD-
ROM drive or click START / click RUN / type X:\SETUP.EXE (assuming X is your CD-
ROM drive).
From MAGIC INSTALL MENU you may make 10 selections:
1. INF
2. IAA
3. SOUND
4. LAN
5. USB2.0
6. PC-CILLIN
7. PC-HEALTH
8. MBIOS&DX9
9. BROWSE CD
10. EXIT

install VIA LAN Controller driver (for 848PDCP only)
install USB 2.0 driver
install PC-CILLIN2004 anti-virus program
install ITE Smart GUARDIAN driver
install BIOS Live Update Utility and Microsoft DirectX 9 driver
to browse the contents of the CD
to exit from MAGIC INSTALL menu
