Installation

INSTALLING BATTERIES

The transmitter for your Mail Guard system comes
with two 3V CR2032 lithium batteries (not installed)
for power. For the best performance and longest life,
we recommend RadioShack lithium batteries.
Warning: Keep button-cell batteries away from chil-
dren. Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.
Cautions:
• Use only fresh batteries of
the required size and rec-
ommended type.
• Do not mix old and new
batteries, different types of
batteries (standard, alka-
line, or rechargeable), or
rechargeable batteries of
different capacities.
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws
from the transmitter's bottom cabinet, then
remove it.
