Introduction
Using your RadioShack Mail Guard is a convenient
way to monitor your mailbox without walking outside
to check for yourself. When the photo sensor senses
a change in light (when the mailbox is opened), the
system's base (receiver) beeps and its indicator
lights. You can set the transmitter to the desired sen-
sitivity setting for the appropriate lighting environment
— Hi for darker mailbox interiors, or Low for interiors
which may leak light inside.
The system can transmit up to about 150 ft, clear line-
