Fuel-driven parking heater (option)
IMPORTANT!
Repeated use of the parking heater combined
with only short journeys can discharge the
battery and impair starting.
In order to ensure that the generator receives
sufficient time to produce the amount of
energy needed without discharging the
battery as a result of regular heater use, drive
the car for a period equalling the time during
which the heater has been active.
Auxiliary heater (diesel)
(certain countries)
Extra heat from the additional heater may be
required in cold weather to reach the correct
temperature in the passenger compartment.
The additional heater starts automatically when
extra heat is required if the engine is running. It
is switched off automatically when the correct
temperature is reached or when the engine is
switched off.
