Telephone
Operating
SIM card
The telephone can only be used in conjunction
with a valid SIM card (Suscriber Identity
Module). Obtain the card from your service
provider.
Always insert the SIM card to use the telepho-
ne. The name of your service provider will then
be displayed.
Switch off the telephone whenever a SIM card
is not in use. Otherwise, messages from other
functions cannot be displayed and the radio
controls in the steering wheel keypad cannot be
used.

Switching the telephone on and
off
To switch the telephone on: Turn the ignition
key to position I. Press the button marked in the
illustration.
To switch the telephone off: Press the same
button for three seconds. If you switch off the
car while the telephone is on, it will be on the
next time the ignition is switched on.
Telephone calls cannot be received if the
telephone is switched off.
Active mode
The telephone must be in active mode to use its
functions (does not apply to receiving calls).
(does not apply for receiving calls).
Activate the telephone by pressing
centre console or steering wheel keypad.
When in active mode, telephone information is
always shown in the display.
Press to deactivate the telephone.
